Few questions about natralisation process

Post by umbrii » Sun Mar 24, 2013 4:38 pm

Hello, I am a Polish nationality and have been living and working in the UK for the past 7,5 years. I registered at the home office in July 2005 (2 weeks after my arrival). In February 2006 I successfully completed "OCR Level 1 Certificate in Adult Literacy". Do I need to pass the Life in the UK test as well or OCR is enough to meet the requirements for naturalisation?

Also, just wondering whether "referees" section apply to me at all? One of my referee's lives in another city, will I need his signature?

Another thing, how can I prove my address history? Can I just present a report taken from Credit Expert or do I have to provide bank statements/evidence for each address?

Finally, do I need to present all P60/P45? I had many jobs over the last years and I don't think I have all P60/P45's.

Many thanks for your advice!

You need ESOL with life in the UK element certificate or LITUK test certificate.it`s not only language test, also its knowledgeof life in the UK and UK history test.(will be from 25th March I think)
why do you think you will be excluded from providing referees?
you need his signature, you can also get another referee to sign it for you, one have to be British, other one have to be professional.
I take it you did`t apply for PR confirmation using EEA3 form?
You can prove it showing contracts for each address you rented property, bank statements, etc. also P60 and p45 have address on so that maybe enough. As for support of your employment you can send payslips, contracts of employment, etc.

Many thanks boloney!

I though that having a PR Confirmation is optional and is not required in order to apply for naturalisation and that PR status is obtained automatically after 5 years?? :?

Thanks

you are right, it is optional. but if you had it you would`t have to send all the evidence to support your applications.
now you will have to prove that you was exercising treaty rights for 5 years and that you was resident in the UK.
Best think you can to is download AN form and see what supporting documents they have listed on one of the last pages of it and see what you will be able to provide.
