HSMP (Non JR) now on Tier1. Do I need the Points Assessment?

Post by kishengajjar » Sun Mar 24, 2013 4:52 pm

Hi all,

I'm filling out my ILR application SET(O) and I'm confused as to whether I need to be doing the Points Scoring Assessment in Section 9.

In Section 3 of the form, it shows 2 categories:

SECTION A <-- Points assessment required
- Tier 1 (General) migrant (excluding applicants applying under the terms of the HSMP Forum Judicial Review Policy Document)

SECTION B <-- No points assessment required
- Highly skilled migrant

My original entry into the UK was under HSMP, but when the scheme ended, I was transferred to Tier 1. If the scheme no longer exists, why is it referenced in SECTION B? What category am I in???

I'm confused, and would really appreciate some guidance. Filling out the assessment would mean that I would need to start pulling together more evidence, such as payslips, etc. When I first applied for HSMP, I'd already done this.

Thanks,

Kishen
