Hi I applied for Spouse visa under the old rules on 6th of july 2012, I had my biometrics done etc ... just received a letter today stating that my application has been refused under paragraph 286 with reference to paragraph 284 (I) and paragraph 284 (IV) and I have no right to appeal. I'm really devastated don't know what to do now. my wife is british born and on really good wage.
ps had overstayed my visa !!!!!

On 31st Jan I replied to your post advising that your marriage doesn't appear to be legally recognised under British law and that your solicitor should have advised you to apply on form FLR(O). As an overstayer with no valid visa FLR(M) was never going to succeed.
