Working in Ireland with UK ILR visa

Post by Jika » Mon Mar 25, 2013 1:32 pm

Hello,

I am married to the British national and I have ILR visa, which I got last year, and I am a citizen of Kyrgyz Republic at the moment.

I have recently been offered a good job in the Republic of Ireland, they said that they will pay my salary into my UK bank account and that I can travel back home here to UK to see my husband every 2 weeks on weekends. They will do the Irish work permit for me.

If I acccept the job will it jeopardise my application for naturalization and British passport?

Please give me an advice! This is very important!

Thank you in advance!
Kind Regards,
Jika

You can't be outside of the UK more than 90 days in the 12 months leading up to your application for British Citizenship.
You say you were granted ILR last year. When will you have completed 3 years of legal residence in the UK?
