spouse visa minimum salary threshold rising

Hello members.
I read in local news paper that ukba is rising the minimum salary to 26000 per annum...currently its 18600...
Does someone knows about that....
Please confirm this is it true or false...

Actually they can't. The statement of changes to the Immigration Rules have to be laid before Parliament before they can be introduced.
