Travel to schengen with two passports

Post by s1lver » Tue Mar 26, 2013 6:29 am

Hi,

I have:

-Passports:
-- Old passport (was till Oct 2013), annul cause I've taken new one
-- New passport (till Feb 2023).

-Visa:
--I have valid schengen visa in old one. It's France visa, C category, valid till Aug 2013.
--I have no schengen visa in new passport.

-
I want to go to Switzerland for vacation. Entry to schengen in Germany.

-
Question:
Is it possible? What I have to do to have no problems on border control?

It is quite common to travel on a new passport when a valid visa is in the old one. I am not guaranteeing that you won't encounter any problems, but it is common enough.

If you have concerns, you could check with an embassy.
