Maintenance Funds Query

Hi All

Please consider the following scenario:

Tier 1 Extension
Bank Balance: £1600

Main Applicant 3 months maintenance requirement:£900
I have applied & got my visa –same day service.

Can I use the same bank statements for showing the maintenance funds for my daughter & wife (need to show £1200)

Or do I need to have £2100(£900 +£600+£600) for three of us in the bank?

I have gone through the guidance notes doesn't say anything when the main application has got the visa and now applying for the rest of the family member.

Hi,

Check 'Policy guidance on dependants of points-based system migrants' ponits 46 and 47. You may need £600x2 = £1200 + £900 = £2100.

You need to show 600+600 for 2 dependants, you dont have to show for yourself as your application been already approved.

Yes you can show the same bank account and the amount..

Same bank statment is fine. Also, the amount is more than required.
