UKBA's IT systems

Post by stokbrig » Wed Mar 27, 2013 5:31 pm

’’UKBA’s IT systems are often incompatible and are not reliable enough. They require manual data entry instead of automated data collection, and they often involve paper files instead of modern electronic case management. So I have asked the Permanent Secretary and Home Office Board to produce a new plan, building on the work done by Rob Whiteman, UKBA’s chief executive, to modernise IT across the whole immigration system’’.

The Right Honourable Theresa May
Home secretary

I cannot stand the Home Secretary she never accepts responsibility, ever.

There's more to UKBA that's unreliable, not only IT system.
Goodluck.

Good example is ACS assessment done by Australian government, they handled the ACS assessment through online..all done by electronically,

there are many bespoke driven case management tools out there in the market also i know some of the local council are already using case management tools. so why not UKBA uses one of them .

just look at the UKBA charges ....they can do a pretty much good job for handling applications ... i think they have enough funds also ...
