Residence permit in Spain for non-EU spouse

Post by Jusiley » Wed Mar 27, 2013 7:43 pm

Hello, everybody!
I need some advices, can anyone help me to understand " What should I do to make it right? "
Situation: Im EU-citizen,Hungary, my husband is non-EU. We want to move in Spain.
What do I need to get a Residence permit to me and my husband. He have a visa 90/180 days.
We came in Spain, rent a flat. After that I should go to take the NIE, getting NIE.
Take the following documents to the Extrahjeria:
1. My passport.
2. NIE
3. Rent contract.
4. Marriage certificate or paper from my embassy that my marriage is valid.
5. Husband's passport
6. Medical insurance (?)
7. Foto's
8. Proof of having sufficient funds. Bank statement is enough,if it will be translated in spanish? And how much money I need to show? And I have a freelance job in Russia, with contract.
Do I need to bring it too?

Thank you in advance, and sorry for my english :)

[quote="EUsmileWEallsmile"]If you read through direcrive 2004/38/ec, it specifies what is required to obtain a residence card

Yes, i was reading it. But im afraid that when we will come at the Estranjeria, they will tell me- Oh, you dont have a job contract in Spain, so you should to sent your husband far away from here.
