International Speaking and Listening Diploma at A1 level

Post by Moonandstar » Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:49 am

My wife took the City & Guilds International Speaking and Listening Diploma at A1 level (spouse/ partner) on 1st March 2013 in Punjab, Pakistan.

My question is how long after taking the test should she get the result and how soon after that will she receive both her Speaking and Listening certificates which she can can use as evidence for passing the English Language requirement when applying for a spouse visa with the UK border agency?

It is my understanding the City & Guilds office in Sri Lanka should be contacted for queries relating to any courses offered in Pakistan but I have received no reply from them.

Any information would be much appreciated as everything is ready to submit the visa application and we are just waiting for the result and certificates. Also it is my understanding there should be 2 certificates, one for the speaking part and and for the listening part because the UKBA will not accept the result sheet.
Is this correct?
Thanks.
