Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 Gen (Employee Sponsor)

I have already seen some of the threads here related to this, however there are some doubts .

My Current Visa Status
1- Visa Issues on Feb 2010- Tier 2 ICT Migrant, however travelled to UK in May 2010
2- Visa Extension applied in UK , Tier 2 ICT - Long Term Staff Valid till Aug 2013

My Queries
1- Can I switch to Tier 2 Gen If a company sponsors me
2- Is it possible in UK
3- How much time it takes.
