Hi Friends,
One of my friends applied for Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa in UK under £200,000 category based on Third Party funding from Pakistan.
In support of his application he submitted a Bank Letter from the third party confirming the genuineness of third party bank account and availability of the promised funds in the account of third party.
Further he also submitted a declaration by the third party in favour of applicant and a verification letter of the third party declaration by a legal representative.
But his application has been refused by UKBA on following grounds:
1. Bank Letter does not contain the name of the applicant.
2. Bank Letter does not specify the amount made available by the third party to the applicant.
In this connection it is highlighted that Banks in Pakistan and UK refuse to issue any such letter to confirm the access of funds to some one else other than the account holder. To address the same declaration is made mandatory by UKBA. So matter seems complicated.
He has the right of appeal.
Your kind advise is solicited to proceed further.
Thanks
