ILR appointment next week, family on tier 1 dependent visa

Hi,
I am a Tier 1 applicant and i was planning to apply for ILR before 6th April 2013 considering the expected rule changes after that. Unfortunately i could manage to book appointment only for myself in croydon peo and could not get slot for dependent.

Can i plan to get my ILR processed first and apply for dependents after few days/weeks ? My only worry is if my ILR will get approved successfully, can it make my family's tier 1 visa dependent invalid ?

Can my dependent still be on tier 1 dependent visa for couple of weeks , till the time i will apply for their ILR ?

Your prompt response on this would be much appreciated.

Many thanks for your reply vinny. i have tier 1 visa valid till 2014 and they have tier1 depdedent visa valid till May 2014. Hope that's fine if i will apply for their ILR in May/June ,once my ILR get processed and approved next week !
