handing over an application

Post by shahmir » Sun Mar 31, 2013 8:20 pm

Is it possible to personally handover Tier 1 dependants application at UKBA Durham address instead of posting or sending through a courier. I am in a situation where your urgent reply will really help. Thanks

No this is not possible. Durham is a payment processing centre and is not available to the public.

The only way you could do this will be through a Public Enquiry Office where payment and consideration are done the same day.

Unfortunately not, as it isn't an office. It's a Payment Processing Centre and I am sure you would not be allowed on the premises.

Thanks for your reply. So no more plans to do this.
But still could not understand why any courier can go there to give them our package and can get signature of receipt, and why on the other hand, an applicant cannot hand them over his/her own documents. Strange!

Probably they allow only uniformed couriers or post van, May be!
