The father of your daughter? British? and if so if he named on your daughter's birth certificate? My daughter is now 16 years of age born in the uk still in school, but she do not have passport.
Don't uderstand if she is a British citizen?
Can you explain a bit more about your UK immigration history? And have you ever been served with papers requiring you to leave?I have been living in this country for 18 years now, i am about to apply for indefinite leave to remain
Was her father a British citizen or "settled" in the UK (ie permanent resident of the UK) when she was born, and are you married to him? If so your daughter is a British citizen.redhot wrote:My daughter is now 16 years of age born in the uk still in school, but she do not have passport.

In which case you are totally entitled to make an application under the 14-year rule. Indeed you could have made such an application 4 years ago.I have been staying in the UK continuously for the past 18 yrs illegally

Her father is British citizen, has his passport, permanent resident of the UK. we do not live together for 12years now but we keep incontact.
my daughter is in school.
Then you need to understand that your daughter is not a British citizen as neither of her "parents" (as defined for nationality purposes under the British Nationality Act 1981 before 1 July 2006) was a British citizen or permanent resident when she was born.redhot wrote:We were not married at any stage.
What's wrong with the information you've already received from John and others?redhot wrote:Thank you, how about my case.
