query about UK absence - tier 2 ICT - expert advice needed

Post by chawlavjti » Tue Apr 02, 2013 12:20 am

Hi,

i've been in UK since Apr 2008 and applying for ILR on 17th April 2013 Croydon, during this period of 5 years i've had following personal trips

2008 - India - 2 weeks
2010- Paris - 4 days
2011 - Italy - 5 days
2011 - Swiss - 5 days
2012 Jan - India - 3 weeks
2012 Apr - India - 2 weeks

all these trips were for personal reasons, however looking at the Set O form and guidelines i'm bit confused about any evidence from employer for these trips. guideline says

'A letter from the employer detailing the purpose and period of absences in connection with the employment, including periods of annual leave'.

during these holidays i was on annual leave and above text also mentions about annual leave, do i need to arrange for any letter.

can any expert from this forum please clarify my doubt about this?

thanks
HC

Yes you need a letter from your employer explaining all those holidays. Please check the sticky for letter template.
Goodluck.
