Fiance with dependant children

Post by bjones » Tue Apr 02, 2013 3:35 pm

Hello
I am a British citizen, my fiance is from the US that has two young children (the father is no longer with us).
My question is if we apply for a fiance visa do we apply for the children at the same time, I know they need separate visa's but do I have to wait for my fiances to be approved first?
On a slight side note, do I need to send all my original copies to my fiance in the US so they can be included in the application?
Thanks for any info
Brian

Does that means he is dead or estranged? If it's the latter then the mother must be able to show sole-responsibility as defined in the UKBA child-settlement guidance.

Yes, the children can apply at the same time. Yes, she needs original paperwork but not three times. One original and two copies for the kids in a bundled application package will suffice.
