REALLY CONFUSED !!

Post by haidarbaker » Wed Apr 03, 2013 9:54 am

Hello Everyone,

I have been given ILR in Feb 2013 after five years LTR (Refugee status). The Home Office's website really confuses me it says to wait 12 months after receiving ILR and sometimes one of the requirements is to be in the UK for at least 5 years to apply for a british citizenship where I have met all requirements. (I was granted 5 years LTR in Aug 2007).

Can I apply for BC now? as some people I heard who did and got the BC.

Many Thanks

You should wait at least one year after grant of ILR, unless you are the spouse or civil partner of a British citizen.
