ILR for Dependent

Post by rajesh.kadugi » Wed Apr 03, 2013 2:12 pm

Hi Experts,

I have a question for ILR. Below is the details of my situation.

I was on Tier 1 General since last 7 years and have got my ILR yesterday.
I am planning to apply ILR for my wife and kid who are on Tier 1 General Dependent visa valid till July 2013. My wife has been staying with me in UK since 2005 but she has been in India for continuous 11 months( From Aug 2010 to July 2011).

My questions are as below

1, What application form will I have to use, can she directly apply for ILR using form SET(M) or does she need to apply FLR(M) first.
2, Her stay outside UK in 2010-2011 exceeds 180 days, does it makes her ineligible for ILR.

Thanks in advance

Regards
Rajesh

Rajesh,

I am also in your similar situation(Got ilr recently) and planning ILR for my wife & child shortly.

I think the 180 days rule will not applicable for dependant and for only Tier 1 G main applicant for pbs based.

the application form should be SET(0) i believe. but, i am having much confusion on how to fill the seT(0) for dependant alone..

@ILRDep, if you have done this already. can you explain to us pls?
