Embassy has not responded to our appeal

Just looking for some advice, we put in our appeal for spouse visa refusal in Oct 2012 and we were given a date of 3rd April, i rang the court yesterday and was told the embassy has not responded, does anyone know if this is a common thing?
we now have to wait another 8 weeks for the court date...i am absolutley disgusted tbh
Submitted application - Cairo 10th oct 2011
Refused - 12th jan 2012
resubmitted - 26th jun 2012
refused again - 14th oct 2012
appeal lodged - 28th oct 2012
date given - 3rd april 2013
court 15th july
UKBA withdrawn 12th july
still waiting for visa

There is a good possibility that the appeal may be withdrawn by UKBA at last minute and the visa is granted.

Happens quite often......so dont be to despondent :wink:
