visit Visa for my wife

Post by kishorek » Fri Apr 05, 2013 10:10 pm

Dear Friends,

I am holding British passport and my wife is having Indian passport but she got the ILR. Does she need a visit Visa because we are planning for a trip to France.

Your advice is much appreciated.

Many thanks
K

It's advisable to get a free Schengen visa from the French Consulate General.

Hi Vinny,

Thanks for your advise. I also noticed in the french consulate that EU spouse visa is free, but they charge the administration fees I think. Do you have any idea about the fees?

Many Thanks

An admin fee may be charged if one uses the (optional) "added value" service that a third party supplier, such as VFS may supply.

It should be possible to apply directly at the embassy for free.
