Self-employment

Post by Latintraveller » Sat Apr 06, 2013 12:37 pm

Ten days ago my self-employed business went live. Since then I have earned €176. It is early days and it will take a while for my to pick up business. The Guard is encouraging me to make the EU1 application for my spouse and step-son this week. Would my low earnings (turnover) count against the application or would immigration be more interested in the paperwork to do with the business? If the former is the case should I wait until business picks up before making the application?

Also most payments into the business is in cash. Will immigration expect a business bank account or will a personal one suffice?
Thanks!
