Spouse Visa (ILR dependent)/Tourist Visa Query

Hi Guys,
We filed for my wife's spouse visa on 22nd Feb in India. Now going through few posts I realise I have not submitted the UK NARIC letter. Instead I have submitted the Graduation Degree Certificate and the printout of the PBS calculator showing the degree receives 10 points. I am worried if the non submission of the UK NARIC letter could lead to visa refusal. If anyone can advise on this that will be great. Also can I get a UK NARIC letter now and submit it somehow as my visa is still under process.
In case my wife's visa gets rejected, because of the lengthy appeal process, I am thinking of delaying the spouse visa till this winter and applying for short term 6 months tourist visa for my wife. I am just worried if they will disapprove the tourist visa too because of all this. I am really confused and worried..any help will be very much appreciated.
