student nurse desperate for help..

Post by smiles345 » Tue Jan 23, 2007 2:37 pm

hello everyone

student nurse came over to do the supervised practise but the requiremnt by the nursing and midwifery council for the adaptation programme is IELTS 6.5. visa expired and send it for extension by filling the FLR[o} form attaching the english lessons admission by the college. it has been refused the reason as follows:

Decision and reasons.
-------------------------
you have applied for an extension of stay in the united kingdom as an overseas qualified nurse or midwife, but your apllication has been refused

in view of the fact that you have to underatke the IELTS test which is requirement for the registration with the NUrse and Midwifery council, the secretary of state is not satisfied that you have been accepted to undertake a supervised practise placement in a setting approved by the nursing and midwifery council.

furthermore, the secretary of state is not satisfythat you are able and intend to undertake the supervised practise placement or midwifery adaptation programme in a setting approved by the nursing and midwifery council.

they have sent an appeal form to appeal against this decision, on what grounds we can appeal
