Hi,

I am about to apply for tier 2 visa extension.
My child was born 2 years ago and I had filled child benefit form unknowingly. I just got to know about it that it is part of public fund and I called HMRC regarding this. They have stopped it now. But they have asked for my original biometric card to check and make a decision on that.

Now I have got the certificate number issued to me last week. My visa expires on may 19. What do I do in this case, What Shall I fill in receiving any benefit? If I send my biometric for HMRC caseworker to review, how long would they take in order to evaluate and send it back?

Hope to get an answer soon.
