And here a video who said thatA Student Visitor visa can be a useful option for a non EEA national coming to the UK for study of less than six months, perhaps as a Visiting/Exchange student (or up to 11 months for an English language programme, which is not to be combined with any other study and must be applied for through Entry Clearance), or to undertake a distance learning course, such as the Distance Learning MBA. The Student Visitor visa is also appropriate for a student wishing to come back to take re-sit examinations. Student Visitors do not have to study full-time.
