Yes, thats right! This is what people do when they wait for last day of visa expiry, to make new application. Now you should prepare yourself to apply again.aaliya1986 wrote:Now i am scared that the ukba will return my application as invalid because i did not pay the correct fee...
It's ok. Nothing to worry about.aaliya1986 wrote: another minor thing is that the post office from where i posted STAMPED the parcel instead of putting a sticker of that date.. but i have the postal receipt saying 6th April 2013 as the posted date.
You done it by yourself. There is a fee change notice on UKBA website since a month or two. You should alteast checked UKBA website once before submitting your application. Be prepared yourself for more and more stress! Nobody can help you in this matter. All I can say eat healthy food.aaliya1986 wrote: please please help me because this thing is stressing me a lot.
That is not a bad option at all, most probably your parcel would have left the post office through to the mail delivery depot by now. You could contact the branch where you posted the application and request them to stop the delivery. IMO it is possible but you would have to prove the desperation and the importance. If I am not wrong then I guess there is some 0845 number where you can contact the Royal mail.aaliya1986 wrote:will i become overstayer in that case??
also one thing was coming in my mind .... as i posted saturday in the evening the person in the post office told me that my packet will not go anywhere till monday morning... so is it possible to get my packet back and then change it with the correct fee??
please please help me as i am in middle of my course and i do not want to become an overstayer neither i want to get refused on silly reasons.
This is the asnwers. Regardless of version of form, they actually want correct fee after 6th of April. Mean you can use old form but fee must be new.aaliya1986 wrote:If you submit an application on or after 6 April 2013, we will consider it under the revised Immigration Rules which take effect on 6 April, regardless of which version of a form you use. Applications submitted on or after 6 April must be accompanied by the new fee. Applications submitted with the incorrect fee will not be accepted.
my only concern is that i dont become and overstayer in any case.. what i dont understand is that if there is no option on the application form to pay the 406gbp new fee..how will i pay that fee through the debit card.bruteforce wrote:That is not a bad option at all, most probably your parcel would have left the post office through to the mail delivery depot by now. Good Luck
i understand that if they send the application back as invalid then i will not get the 3c.. but is there any way that i can call them and work things out over the phone through customer services or sending a postal order tomorrow with a covering letter. etc?sheraz7 wrote:Invalid application does not receive section 3c backup that extends the visa till decision even appeal. If with your effort you stop your application to reach UKBA and place correct fee then your application will be valid as long as all other conditions are met too.
the only thing i am confused about is that how will i pay the correct fee when the form itself says 394.. still now the form has not changed on the website...Deviser wrote:This is the asnwers. If you use stop postage trick, I don't think it will work with Next Day Deliveries. Plus, it may work only if post office staff allow you just open envelop and put correct fee. If they cancel the postage and deliver it back you for re-submission, you need to re-submit it today, same day, 8th of April and get receipt. Otherwise your application will become an out of time application. i.e. submitted after current visa expired.
i will try to check with the post office tomorrow morning first thing.. i will be there befoe it opens at 7.30 and then i will try to get the parcel back..Deviser wrote:In case, if you get your envelop back in post office. Don't try to erase, cut and re-write the payment page. Get a new single payment page print out now from new form and change the whole page. Or just attach a postal order of correct amount.
sheraz7 wrote:Why not you call them and get their bank a/c details by telling your situation and then with bank faster payment transfer method you pay the correct fee.
