Family Visitor Visa - No fund in Mother's bank account

Post by royp » Mon Apr 08, 2013 5:39 pm

Hi,

I have ILR in UK and I want to invite my mother for 2 months. I will sponsor her whole trip and I will send all the necessary documents ( my salary slips, bank statements, tenancy agreement council tax etc). I have around £6000 in my current account and £4000 in saving account.

My mother owns our house in India and she gets family pension (my father was central government employee).

She is able to show the property document, Pension book and Bank account showing her income around INR 7000 per month.

But she does not have any big balance in her account. Do you think that would be a problem for visitor visa application?

Is it mandatory to have big bank balance on my mother's account to apply for her visitor visa?

It should not be a problem if she has assets and a regular income stream.
