Naturalization application Referees

Hi,

I have an appointment for Naturalisation application with NCS for 10 June 2013. What is the earliest date I can get referees to sign my application? Can I get this signed in Early May and then submit the application in June 10th? Or there is a limitation that it has to be signed not more than certain number of days before application?

not before 6 months from the application date.
