My Tier2 Visa is finishing sooner this month.
What will be my status after that?
Can I search a new job now?
How long can I wait without a job?
But surely if just the acknowledgement letter gave the right to unrestricted work, people could just submit spurious ILR applications and gain the right to work? Is his leave not simply continued under 3c?sheraz7 wrote:Till application decision your stay is legal and let the visa be expired. You can give acknowledgement letter to your employer too.

That's great. But it only confirms the right to work if they already have the right to work, surely? Does the submission of an ILR application grant the right to work without restriction?? Does 3c not continue...? If 3c were to be continuing, surely OP would only be able to work for his sponsor?sheraz7 wrote:http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/busin ... pport/ecs/physicskate wrote:

When an application has been lodged in time then section 3C extends the existing leave and its concerning conditions till decision even appeal. So if an applicant is already working and now has made an in time application then certainly he has the right to continue to work. If employer has doubts/query then they can directly check it from UKBA.physicskate wrote:That's great. But it only confirms the right to work if they already have the right to work, surely? My assumptions here could be way off...
