A holder of a UK residence card would be admitted to the UK. An EU national needs to exercise treaty rights for their family members' stay to be in order.

You may need a visa for the Netherlands.

Thanks for your reply.
My wife is studying a 3 months course now (which started in March) although she doesn't have CSI at the moment, that's why I am scared to be refused at the border if they start to ask me questions about what she is doing at the moment as it's my first travel without her.

As she doesn't have CSI now, would be a problem for me at the border?

As already stated, your wife needs to comply with the regulations in order for you to benefit.

They might ask at the border what your wife is doing and if she lives in the UK. They will not start to ask for CSI or to check if you meet all the requirements. You won't be refused entry because you don't have insurance.

However, because of your history you are likely to be asked more questions. I suggest you ask to speak with the CIO (Chief Immigration Officer) and ask them to remove the marker from your file as you now have a RC. Otherwise, they will keep stopping you on every entry.
