5 year Work Permit Holder - about absence days

Hi, could anybody help me on the absence days that are allowed for work permit holders? I leave UK for 25 days in total during the past 5 years for personal holidays.　Do I still need an employer letter to give explanation about my personal holiday absence? Really appreciated for your quick reply! Thank you!

They need to write a letter explaining all absence was during paid leave...
