UK visa for newborn to Indian parents with Tier 2 ICT visa

Hi All,

I am based in UK (London) on Tier 2 ICT visa. My wife is on Migrant Partner visa (Dependent). We had a newborn baby in London couple of months back. As we both hold Indian passport, we are currently under process of applying for Indian passport for new born baby. Once we receive Indian passport, we plan to start process for UK dependent visa application. Me, my wife along with new born plan to go India at the earliest.

As such, below are my questions:

1. What is the procedure (including documentation) to apply for dependent visa for new born, if we plan to apply from UK.

2. How long does it take, once application is successfully submitted.

3. As my wife plans to go India at earliest for family support, can we go to India with new born without applying for UK dependent visa for new born?

4. If answer to 3 is yes, would it be a hassle to apply for UK dependant visa for our new born from India?

It would be of real help, if someone can help to answer my above queries.
