Tier1 Visa holder- visiting offshore team in Bulgaria

Hi Guys,

I am not sure this is the right place for this post.

I am a Tier1 Visa holder and working for a company in London as an IT Consultant.I have to visit my offshore team in Bulgaria every month for couple of days. Possibly for next 4-5 months. My work will be mostly training them.But I am getting payed in UK and I am not working for any company in Bulgaria.

Is Schengen Visa fine for this purpose. Schengen visa says its for tourism and Business.

You need a visa for Bulgaria. Bulgaria is not in the Schengen area but having a Schengen visa will make your application easier.

Make sure you ask for a 6 months business visa multiple entries by providing a letter from your employer and the company to visit in Bulgaria (event if it is the same company you need two letters)
