Tier 2 priority applications

Hi there,

On a tier 2 valid till mid 2014, was made redundant mid March and managed to get a new CoS after many applications and interviews. Unfortunately, my sponsor realized after issuing the CoS that I could only start work after receiving my new visa (+-6 weeks with PEO or more for postal) They have then decide not to sponsor me anymore as in this economy, they can not predict workload situation that far ahead. I was so close!

All off this happened this week and I haven't submitted any application or booked any appointment. Then today I learned about the Tier 2 priority applications and the possibility to get an answer in 10 working days. I think I have everything needed to apply this way but I wonder why are there so few post about this? 30 request are considered everyday. Did anyone do this before?

I am also confused as on the UKBA website I can only find the "Tier 2 priority application form" but not "Tier 2 priority request" which is required to submit before the the priority application. ( maybe they are the same?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
