Re-entering UK after short stay

Post by yaztaz » Fri Apr 12, 2013 12:16 am

I obtained my third visit visa to meet family in UK from Pakistan at the very beginning of this year. It is a 180 day multi-c visa. Prior to this I stated for 3 months during 2009 and 4 months in 2011.

I came to the UK this time in mid January and was hoping to stay for 3 months again this time but my mother died and I had to travel back with her body for burial in Pakistan. My stay in UK was less than 14 days.

I am now planning to return to the UK on the same visa within the next few weeks but fly back before the expiry of it, early July. I have a return ticket booked and my mother's death certificate.

Will I have any problem at departing airport in Pakistan? Will they refuse to let me on aeroplane? And if they do let me on, will Immigration Officer in UK refuse me entry?

I hope someone can help as my sponsor says I have nothing to worry about but I am tense. I want a safe journey.

There is no reason for the Pakistani authorities or the airline to deny you travel. You have a valid visa, that's all they need.

The UK IO may wish to assure himself that there has been no change of circumstances since the visa was issued. Clearly because of the change of dates you will now spend some time in the UK which previously you might have spent back in Pakistan, but if you can show that your circumstances there and your future plans are the same, it would be totally unreasonable to refuse you entry.

I wouldn't worry too much.
