Work dates - tier 2

Post by maylmi12 » Fri Apr 12, 2013 3:49 pm

I already submitted my application, but I found out that the minimum they give for this visa is 3 years. We only put 1 year for my work dates in the certificate of sponsorship. does this mean that they will only give me 1 year worth? But this means I have to reapply again next year.. or will they give me 3 years? Is this the standard?

Min is not 3 years.
You can extend your stay in-country if initial leave was for 1 year.
Nothing to wory

You will get 1 year if it's 1 year on your COS and then apply for extension again after 1 year. You should have asked your employer to put in 3 years (max) if it was possible.
