kids of parents with ILR!

Post by kim1 » Fri Apr 12, 2013 9:13 pm

My question is that , A kid dependent of a ILR ,would have to pay full fee for universities, as he got his indefinite stay with his father's application but he is now above 18 years old, technically speaking what's the treatment of such kids in universities are they treated as home student or as a non-EEA status.

They would be home students. Main conditions are:

i) They have no immigration time restrictions on the first day of the academic year;
ii) They have been ordinarily resident in the UK in the 3 year period prior to the start of the academic year; and
iii) Should not have been a holder of a student visa at any time during the 3 year qualifying period.
