ILR Set O Form Query

Post by salman83 » Mon Apr 15, 2013 3:32 pm

Hi,
I have a question regarding ILR set o form. Before I ask the question, I just wanted to explain my status. I got HSMP visa on May, 2008 and came to UK on June, 2008. Then got extension to Tier-1 (General) in May, 2010. Now, I am about to apply for ILR.

My question is related to section 9 and subsection B. Qualifications Assessment. Do I need to submit the evidence for my qualification as I already proved it during HSMP.

I filled the following answers for questions: -

B1. Please provide details of the higher education, vocational or professional qualification for which you are claiming points

Entered my qualification details.

B2. Please indicate your method of verifying your qualification:

Qualification recognised on points calculator and evidence submitted as part of previous Tier 1 (General) application

B3. Please indicate the points being claimed for your qualification, including equivalent professional/vocational qualifications:

Applications for indefinite leave to remain where you have had leave as a Highly Skilled Migrant, Writer, Composer or Artist, Self-employed Lawyer, or as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant under the Rules in place before 6 April 2010.

Bachelor’s degree 30 Points

B4. Please tick to confirm the documents that you have sent as supporting evidence of the qualification for which you are claiming points. (You should refer to Chapter 6A of the Immigration Directorate Instructions (Tier 1 Settlement) to establish the circumstances in which documents other than the original certificates of award will be accepted.)

Evidence is not required for current application because it was submitted for a previous Tier 1 (General) application

Also, in section 11, I filled subsection 11A and 11L. In subsection 11L, do I need to provide some additional docs for the following statement.

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.

I am planning to submit my employer's letter for 5 years.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi Salman,

If you have already claimed points for a qualification in your previous application for HSMP, you do not need to submit it again. This has already been entered on their systems. This only applies if you are claiming points on the same qualification as you did when you applied for your HSMP. If you are claiming on a different qualification you will need to submit the document as evidence

I do not understand. I just checked the option for the following question: -

So, I am claiming the point over here.

Can you tell me about the second question also.

Thanks.

salman83 : u have to tick the relevant tick box that you have previously claimed for, so if u already have claimed the degree then tick that .
like wise you have to tick all the necessary tick boxes that you claimed already, remember these tick boxes are relevant by the time you initially approved your HSMP or Tier 1,

i did that way and i got my ILR by last month ,

thanks

No. I meant the following question: -

Code: Select all

Also, in section 11, I filled subsection 11A and 11L. In subsection 11L, do I need to provide some additional docs for the following statement.

For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules.

I am planning to submit my employer's letter for 5 years.

let me know if u need any further clarification on this
