British Passport for Child Born in UK but staying outside

Post by Anjali Gupta » Tue Apr 16, 2013 2:48 am

Hello everyone,
I have got ILR in February 2013 and I have a son born in UK in 2009 (His age is 4 years). Can we apply for his Citizenship ?

Please note that my son doesn't have an ILR as he went to India for some treatment in between with my husband and he is in India at the moment.

If yes, then I understand that form MN1 will be used, but in that form on page 3, it has been asked that when did the Child was granted indefinite leave to enter/remain in the UK , Can we leave it blank ?

I have birth registration certificate and Indian passport both issued from UK. Please help, I am confused on this one ?

Thanks
-Anjali
