Basic disclosure

Hope someone can answer this one simple question, my husband is applying for BC can someone please tell me if he is supposed to do a police report or some kind of disclosure to send with the application, if so what is the correct name and where can the forms be found, hoping someone can answer this quickly ....

No, applicants are only required to declare any convictions on the form, caseworker would carry out the checks themselves.

One exception to this is if the applicant is from Northern Ireland, when applicant is required to submit PSNI clearance letter.

Yes we are in Northern Ireland, so how do I go about getting this clearance letter from the psni ?

They are very prompt in response, just fill in the form, supply required documents and fees ... they normally reply back in 2 weeks...

I recently applied for my naturalization application with PSNI clearance which got approved last week, so if you need any help feel free to ask :-)
