College not on list

greetings everyone!
hope everyone is alright. I had to ask about friend of mine who is on tier 4 visa and his institution got off list last week. but when he asked management staff what is going on, they said that he needn't worry because college has applied for highly trusted status and it will take a week or so for UKBA to decide the out come meanwhile college still has its A rating even though it is not on the list
my question is that could it be true what ever they explained or my friend do need to worry and inquire the exact situation from some other reliable source and if yes what is right method to find out exact position of the institute? please

thank you very much sheraz7. that means best thing for him is to wait till UKBA write him. if he don't receive any letter, it should be fine to continue to study as liecence may only be suspended not revoked?

That is what we are doing every day but it is not on list yet
