Transfer German Work Permit from Employer 1 to Employer 2

Hi,

I was holding a Schengen Visa ( Section 18 ) and it has validity till Feb, 2015 and I have returned back to India on Dec 09th, 2012. So, as per immigration laws I can travel back again within 6 months starting Dec 09th, 2012 to keep the Residence Permit active. However, I may not be able to work as I have moved from Employer 1 to a different Employer now( say Employer 2).

Is it possible to transfer the Work Permit from Employer 1 to Employer 2 as it looks like I might get an opportunity to work in Germany for Employer 2. You may ask a question "Why don't you apply for new WP again ? ". The answer for this question would be if I try to do it, it takes another 3 years to get a Permanent residence permit whereas if I can transfer the visa, it just needs 1 year to convert it to Section 19 ( PR ).
