hello forum members
I need your advice.i currently hold PR blue book which I recieved on 10 September 2012.now I would like to apply for BC and I know about 12 months waiting rule from recieving PR.but some lad told to me I could apply after 11 months from the date I hold my PR.i don't know if this is true or maybe full 12 months is required.i also understand any person applying before October 28 2013 can provide either esol with citizenship or life in the uk test not both?thank you for you answers..

To answer your first question unlike any immigration extension application which allowed you to apply up to 28 days ahead for a naturalisation application you need to wait full 12 months after you were granted ILR (Unless married to a British citizen).

As such ILR does not have expiry date, so UKBA will most likely refuse your application if you have not met qualifying criteria of having spent 12 month in UK after getting ILR.
Information and/or advice provided by me is of general nature and is not intended to substitute for informed professional legal or other professional advice.

The OP has a PR (under the EEA regulations) and not ILR.

See Q1 & Q5 in Citizenship FAQs - Common Questions - Read before posting.
