UK Born Child in India and to Travel to UK

Hi,

My Son Born here in the UK, and went back to India on Indian passport. No visa in Indian passport. Then we registered him as British Citizen recently under Section 1 (3).

Can he travel with Indian Passport and British Citizen registration certificate to the UK?? It is very lengthy process to apply for his British passport in India.

Is there any other alternatives?? Can he travel using emergency travel document??

No shortcuts. He will need a British passport. A recent post reported it took them only 5 weeks in India for a first passport for a UK born child so it might not be as bad as you think.
