income require for ilr (marriage visa

i got my 2years marriage visa on october 2011.now i am going to apply for ilr on coming october but i am worried about income require for ilr. i am on old rules which is befor 8 th july 2012 i.e no need to show 18600 income so i am bit confuse now. any idea

There is no specific income requirement just that you are able to maintain yourself without recourse to public funds. That basically means that your income levels needs to be that of income support or more.

Indeed, income support is considerably less than £18600 pa. If you're a couple without kids then £112.55 p/w or £5852.60 pa or more should suffice.
