If the child's (born in the UK) parent has become settled in the United Kingdom or becomes a British citizen, the child will have an entitlement to register as a British citizen. This registration would be under section 1(3) of the British Nationality Act 1981.manishbhatt1000 wrote:Hi,
My son was born when we were on Tier-1 . We have now got ILR and my son only has a birthcertificate and doesn't have passport of any country as yet. Can he be naturallized as British citizen?
Thanks
The question is, if the child has ILR, just write next to: does not have ILR. For references see pg 26 http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... de_mn1.pdfmanishbhatt1000 wrote:Hi,
Just to confirm, What do I select in form MN1 for when was the child granted ILR? My son doesn't have it. Also for reference is it necessary to get HV reference? I can't contact hv and my appintment is on tuesday.
Gp should be fine. The professional doesn't need to hold a British passport but the other does.manishbhatt1000 wrote:thank for ur help again. can i get my gp reference instead of HV? Do both referees need to be british passport holder?
