Well there is no requirement per se however, you should be able to maintain yourself with recourse to public funds so that would indicate your disposable income is that of income support or more that's around £178.20 for a couple and one child. You can claim child benefit and tax credits.mrgs1 wrote:My wife applies soon for ILR set m, baby is british because im british citizen does this mean they will calculate maintenance requirement including her? Some months meet £750 amount but bills and expenses change per month!D4109125 wrote:Well there is no requirement per se however, you should be able to maintain yourself with recourse to public funds so that would indicate your disposable income is that of income support or more that's around £178.20 for a couple and one child. It's not about paying all the bills just housing costs/rent and council tax. So net income (incl. child benefit and tax credits) - rent - council tax = applicable income. The applicable income should be the income support amount or greater.mrgs1 wrote:After I have paid everything all bills per month left with only £600 so I would fall foul?
