More than 180 days absence

Hi all,

I have a query I am on t1 G visa and eligible for an ILR but absence due to work related are more than 250 days in the last year. My husband is working for the same company he was working for in Uk, but now he is being paid in india and keeps travelling back and forth to keep the absences, the limit less than 90 days at one stretch. Can we put an application for ILR?

Or
Just go for an extension this time?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

90 days at a stretch rule is no longer applicable under new laws for ILR

you can manipulate the number of leaves outside UK to keep them down to 180/year. go through this document http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

you may need to get another extension in most cases if you are manipulating leaves outside UK
