Thumb Impression for Infant OCI application

Post by parikhvishal » Sun Apr 21, 2013 4:46 pm

Question 1:
I wan to apply for OCI for my 1.5 month old. I was wondering if thumb impression really required for such small baby on part A form for OCI?

Question 2:
Are these documents sufficient for application or anything else needed?

* Full UK Birth Certificate for Baby
* Copy of British Passport
* Copy of OCI for Father and Mother
* Copy of British Passport for Father and Mother
* Marriage Certificate for Parents

Q1. Yes it is required. Its futile questioning the provision, I have been through so many times for the same.

Q2. Copies of original documents, not the originals.

Good luck.
